Concerns and paying times:
Gaming now in today’s society has taken control over people. People pay more attention to games than real life socialising. Most parents are really concerned about their children because they can play games for hours and not focus on studying.When the younger children come home they straight away go to their console and play games for hours and not pay attention to their surroundings. Games can also control the little children and some adults because it can make then get frustrated due the game and curse it and that makes them a negative person to society.
Social isolation, Seperation from reality
Mostly young adults and children isolate themselves from society just to play games because they have to do some kind of challenge or they have to level up and they just drift slowly away from society because of a little level up or challenge they have to complete for a game. Furthermore, when people don’t have anything to do they just play games instead of socialising with family or friends and rely on games to make them entertained.
Education
Education in today’s society is very important because it hard to find a really good job and go to a good university and people are here not revising enough because they get distracted by games. In school when a class uses the computer and if no teacher was supervising them it is guaranteed they will be playing games instead of doing the task because all they look for is fun and “games” are taking over. Back before when there were no games people used to study, get help and children will enjoy school but now games are changing them. Some people in the world don’t get any education and young adults ,in mostly HIC’s, are privileged with education and they affect themselves because of mostly games.Most Students hates doing written work and reading and contributing in class but when once they have to play an educational game they will because the deadly phrase “game” hooked their attention.
Different types of games
There are many types of video game genres. For example: adventure games, puzzle games, strategic games, action games, shooting games, racing games, educational games, etc. Right now the most popular genre is shooting because Fortnite was the biggest and most popular game from 2017-2018 in the whole world and still millions of people still play it. However, now the most popular game today is Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 and that is a shooting game.This game has a table where it records the players kills and deaths in the game. In Call Of Duty the K/D is very important because it shows their kills to death ratio and if it’s under 1 you are classed as a terrible player which therefore peer pressures you into getting high kills. If they fail to do so their actions and emotions could be very bad but at the end of the day the people who play the game finds it very fun. This vividly states that shooting games are really popular and people in the world admire violent games.Most parents disallow their child who is underage for the game to purchase the game but most somehow still play it and enjoy it.There has been many news reports stating that there have been violent kids commiting crime because they are reenacting things from the violent game.It changes them as a person. Also actions games are very popular such as Spiderman. The game developer made the character swing on buildings and the game has missions to take down evil characters and goons. In Spiderman you have to level up and have lots of xp (experience) to unlock the different types of Spiderman character. The best character needs a really high level and xp and obviously people will want the best of the best and give their heart and soul into the game to unlock the best character. The least popular games that children or young adults like to play in their spare time is educational games because they find it boring or pointless but the day before a huge test they find it useful. The more violent and action games really have the power over other types of genre’s for games.Additionally, online gambling is a game where you can gamble live and it creates tension and intense anger if the player loses money. The game can be very corrupt and some online gambling games can be scammers
